When Mary Anderson decided to get into real estate, she had no idea what the future held. As a self-driven person, she has found success by focusing on her website and helping her clients find the home that they really want.
Anderson and her team serve the West Valley cities of Surprise, Peoria, and Buckeye and are expanding into the North Valley. She has her associate broker license and got into the real estate field after moving to Arizona from Washington, which proved to be a challenge at first.
“When I first moved here, I didn’t have a sphere of influence,” Anderson told the Surprise Journal. “The only people I knew were my husband’s family, and there was already a realtor in the family, so she was already getting the family business. My challenge was to figure out how to carve out a niche for myself and put my name out there.”
This is exactly what Anderson did as she threw herself into her website during a time that other realtors weren’t focusing on the technology. This allowed Anderson to optimize the site and reach more clients that were turning to the web for their home searches.
“By the time that everyone figured out websites do work, I was on the first page of Google, and I’m still there today,” she said.
With a solid foothold in the real estate industry, Anderson has made the active retirement community her core business, serving these clients with incredible care. She is a realtor that develops deep relationships with her clients and helps them move toward the next stage of their life with a new home.
She also focuses on the family community and has really made a name for herself by letting her clients decide what is the right home for them.
“It’s all about helping your client in whatever situation they are in,” she said.
