ON Semiconductor issued the following announcement on Sept. 10
Quantenna Connectivity Solutions (formerly known as Quantenna Communications) is returning to IBC2019 as ON Semiconductor this September. The Wi-Fi group is meeting new and old customers in Amsterdam to share the exciting news of the integration into ON Semiconductor, as well as its latest product the Spartan Router advanced reference design.
The combination of Quantenna’s leading Wi-Fi technologies and ON Semiconductor’s leadership in power and analog semiconductors support the mission to perfect Wi-Fi by establishing benchmarks for speed, range, efficiency and reliability. Together as ON Semiconductor, we continue to create total solutions, from silicon and system to software, that addresses connectivity applications in IoT, automotive, and carrier markets.
The Spartan Router advanced Wi-Fi reference design is built on the QSR10GU-AX 8x8 multiple input, multiple output (MIMO) dual-band dual concurrent Wi-Fi 6 chipset that offers unrivaled coverage and network capacity for OEMs to bring the best-in-class Wi-Fi 6 routers to both retail and service providers markets. It is designed to address increasingly high demand for wider in-home coverage while providing the level of performance needed for demanding applications such as 4K video streaming, online gaming, cloud synchronization and increasing number of smart home products. Equipment vendors can benefit from using readily-made reference design to bring disruptive products to market rapidly, with reduced development time and costs.
IBC is Europe’s largest and most influential broadcast industry event, covering everything from studio cameras to networking technologies, post-production to streaming videos. Industry trendsetters, from technology innovators, service providers, to equipment manufacturers, are expected to bring their best games to the table.
We will showcase the Spartan Router during IBC2019, September 13-17, 2019, at Hall 15, MS14 & MS18, RAI, Amsterdam. Please contact QCS sales representatives to schedule a meeting at IBC.
