Patricia Kime was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. She attended Rhodes High School and graduated in 1971. Shortly after graduation, she drove with Raymond (her brother) and Bradley (his son) to California where she resided until 2006; leaving behind Sharon (her sister) and Norma and Frank Kime (her parents). Patricia enjoyed her time in California where she had her son, Thomas (1990). She had a passion for Hang-Gliding, Hiking, Camping, and enjoyed attending classic rock concerts. She was one of the first female hang gliders to sail off of a few points in Yosemite, including Glacier Point. She lived in numerous cities, including Oakland, Foster City, and Berkeley. She worked for AAA in IT Security for just shy of 40 years and retired in 2017. In 2006 Patricia followed AAA and moved out to Phoenix Arizona. While in Phoenix, she became involved with K9 Search and Rescue Teams, numerous charitable companies, and Phoenix CERT. She adopted a golden retriever named Lulu who she trained to be a certified Search and Rescue dog. Lulu accompanied Patricia on many rescues, including their own personal adventures like camping. Later in life, she adopted a boxer named Lily. Patricia and Lily enjoyed the remaining sunny days in Anthem Arizona where Patricia passed away peacefully with family on the evening of October 10th, 2019.
A memorial/celebration of life will be on Monday October 14th at Patricia's house. Please contact one of her family members for further information.
